Sustainability is important to me and I have been using recycled fabrics for open screen printing such as corn, bamboo, recycled, organic cotton and marine leather.  I have also been experimenting with natural dyes such as onion, cochineal and red cabbage which has been fun.  For digital printing I have been using recycled polyester whenever possible.

I was lucky enough to meet the staff at Caribelle Batik in St Kitts, where they were making hand made batik, which inspired me to have a go at home, with some lovely results.  For more information about batik go to Caribelle Batik website
